Why we exist
Our mission
BadmintonPeak exists for one simple reason: help badminton players understand their game and progress, whatever their level.
Today, video analysis is reserved for top-level players with access to a technical staff. Club players, district and regional competitors, enthusiasts who play every week — they don't have access to this kind of feedback on their game.
BadmintonPeak changes that. Send your training or match video, choose your analysis or follow a structured progression course, and in minutes you receive a detailed breakdown. No staff needed, no budget — just your video and a few clicks.
Where it comes from
The story
BadmintonPeak is an indie project, created by a badminton-passionate developer. The idea came from a simple observation: after each match, you tell yourself "I should have done it differently" — but without structured analysis, it's hard to know exactly what to change.
The arrival of AI models capable of understanding video opened a unique opportunity. Rather than waiting for a big publisher to take interest in badminton, I decided to build the tool myself.
BadmintonPeak is not an investor-funded startup. It's a project driven by badminton passion and community feedback. Each new feature is the result of conversations with players and coaches who use the tool daily.
How it works
How does the AI work?
BadmintonPeak relies on state-of-the-art AI capable of understanding video. The AI watches your video frame by frame and generates a structured report.
The analysis detects technical strokes, tactical patterns, footwork quality, and turning points. The result is a clear, actionable report — not impenetrable technical jargon.
AI is a complement to your coach, not a replacement. It offers an objective, quantified view that you can share with your coach to guide your training sessions.
